What is Reflection Frame?
Reflection Frame is the world's first E Ink Spectra 6 Digital Photo Frame that allows you to showcase your favorite photos straight from your phone. Enjoy cord free operation with the built-in rechargeable battery which lasts years on a single charge.
How do I send images to Reflection Frame?
1. Open the Reflection Frame App.
2. Select a photo from your phone or the built-in image library.
3. Crop, rotate, or edit as desired.
4. Tap the checkmark in the top-right corner to confirm.
5. Hold your phone near the bottom-left corner of the frame mat (in portrait orientation).
6. Your phone will vibrate once it detects the frame via NFC.
7. The app will show sending progress—wait until it reaches 100%.
8. Your new image will appear on the screen.
Do I need WiFi for Reflection Frame to work?
No. Reflection Frame can be updated directly from your phone using the Reflection Frame App. Tap-to-Print technology does not require WiFi!
What's so special about the display?
Reflection Frame uses an E Ink Spectra 6 display. This advanced display looks like printed ink on paper is extremely low power and emits no light.
How long does the battery last?
The battery life will depend on usage, but expect months to over a year of battery life. The E Ink display only consumes power when updating the image!
Can I customize the frame’s appearance?
Yes! Reflection Frame features interchangeable mats (attached by magnets), allowing you to personalize its look to match your décor or mood.
Are there any subscription fees for using the app?
No, there are no subscription fees to access the thousands of images available in the Reflection Frame Endless Gallery.
What materials are used in the frame?
Reflection Frame uses high quality, eco-friendly materials. The frame is milled out of a single piece of engineered wood so there are no unsightly seams at the corners. The backing is also made of solid wood giving the entire product a high quality look and feel.
Are my photos stored online?
No, your photos can stay on your phone and are directly sent to Reflection Frame using Tap-to-Print. Your photos remain private and are never sent to our servers.
How long will my frame be supported?
Reflection Frame does not depend on the cloud for operation. Tap-to-Print technology allows direct updates from your phone. As long as you have the app, you can update images on Reflection Frame!
What are the differences in the Revised Edition?
The revised edition of Reflection Frame, the mat is no longer designed for quick front-swapping. Instead, it is placed behind the wood frame, which gives it a cleaner look and a more premium feel.
If you’d still like to change the mat, you can open the back of the Reflection Frame and swap it manually. It’s not as quick as the original version, but it’s still possible if you want to customize it.
The core display technology and functionality remain the same, and aside from the mat design, there are no major design changes at this time.
